We began Family Connections in 2008. It is their belief that when the counseling process occurs in the home, a deeper understanding and appreciation for the client can develop, thus creating strong therapeutic bonds. It is these bonds that are felt to enhance the counseling process, creating increased opportunities for therapeutic success.

Family Connections offers comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment that focuses on the individual needs of the client. Family Connections also provides comprehensive parent/child assessments and works closely with the DCYF and the Rhode Island Family Court.

All clinicians are licensed in the state of Rhode Island and offer a wide array of psychotherapy and counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We have a diverse staff of Clinicians who speak Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese.
